I use FriendFeed to bring all my social updates to one place. I send updates to friendfeed using their IM functionality. I simply send an Instant Message from inside my Gmail Mailbox to update my status. FriendFeed then updates my twitter page. I have added the twitter app on facebook and allowed twitter to relay my updates as facebook updates as well. Things have now become very easy for me.
Whenever I make a new post to my blog, FriendFeed reads the feed and sends updates to twitter with the link. Twitter then disseminates the URL to my facebook account as well.
