I have been with WordPress.com for a long time. My blog got popularity and it helped me build up many important contacts.
Now I am using self hosted wordpress and no longer need the wordpress.com one. So I deleted both my blogspot and wordpress.com blogs. I won’t miss the blogspot one. But I do miss wordpress.com 🙁

Before deleting your WP and Blogger blogs you could just import the posts from there with the comments as well. There’s a nice built-in feature in WP for this.
After you post your old posts from there you can now Assign your WP API key to your current hosted blogs WP Stats + Akismet . And it will merge with your hosted one.
I did import those posts before deleting the blogs. 🙂
I dont like the blogger. but love wordpress 🙂
